Kilkenny River Court Hotel, Kilkenny

I had a great stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The location was fantastic, close to restaurants and with a beautiful view of the castle. However, the dining experience was a bit disappointing, and the staff's professionalism was a letdown.

The hotel had spacious rooms with plenty of room to move and put luggage, but noise from the elevator was a bit disruptive. Despite a delay in room availability, the scenic river side location was both beautiful and noisy due to its proximity to the function room or bar.

The hotel's location right beside the bridge makes it a bit tricky to access, especially due to poor visibility when exiting. However, the rooms offer a basic but cozy stay, with a complimentary view of the castle and a balcony to enjoy. The service was exceptionally welcoming and attentive to guests' needs, while the dining experience, though good, could use a bit more variety. The hotel's central location in Kilkenny is convenient for exploring the town, with the Norman Castle just across the river visible from some rooms.
